iPhone 15s literally too hot to handle, complain users

Apple’s new iPhone 15 might be literally too hot to handle as multiple users report that the devices are overheating.

Since the much-anticipated smartphone’s launch last week, widespread reports of the iPhone 15 overheating have been circulating online.

Some users have reported temperatures as high as 46C, even during undemanding tasks like browsing social media.

One possibility is that the new A17 Bionic chip, which is the first 3-nanometre chip to be used in an iPhone, is possibly running hotter than previous ones.

The A17 Pro is Apple’s most powerful yet, featuring 17 billion transistors and a six-core CPU.

Apple claims its two performance cores are 10 per cent faster than the A16, while its four efficiency cores offer far better performance.

Another possibility is that the issue is related to the iPhone 15’s new design. The iPhone 15 is thinner and lighter than previous iPhones and features a new titanium body which could be handling heat differently.

This is not the first issue related to the new iPhone 15s. Most recently, the device failed a bend test as YouTuber JerryRigEverything broke it with his bare hands.

While the iPhone 15 Pro held up, the iPhone 15 Pro Max visibly cracked as it was bent. That’s not what you want to see on a £1,199 phone.
