The “Staying Alive on the M25” protests at four unnamed locations will aim to highlight the developments on oil and gas price rises, as well as the general issue around the surging cost of living crisis. Protests have been set up via Facebook, with nearly 400 people set to attend. Insulate Britain, which organised blockades on roads last year that infuriated motorists, is not the instigator of these latest protest but says it is “inspired by the campaign”. A spokesman said: “We are aware Insulate Britain supporters will be in attendance.”
