Prince William announced this morning on social media he has been inoculated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. In his brief message, he also thanked the NHS staff involved in the vaccine rollout.

The social media post included a picture showing the Duke of Cambridge with a rolled-up sleeve receiving the jab.

The picture marks a royal first, as none of the other members of the Firm who have been vaccinated so far against COVID-19 shared a snap portraying the moment.

But the photograph also left quite a few royal fans in awe at Prince William’s arms.

One social media user tweeted: “Those guns”.

Replying to this tweet, another said: “Ha ha, I was just thinking he’s looking pretty fit.”

Another social media user wrote: “Leadership by example! Good job #PrinceWilliam”.

And, adding fire emojis, they added: “Can you share your workout routine? Those Cambridge guns are [fire emojis]”.

Yet another said: “Everyone talking about the jab and here I am looking at those guns”.

An Instagram user joke and wrote: “I am blushing”.

Finally, another added: “Those biceps though”.
