A millionaire has shown his unique London home that is located in one of the UK’s busiest train stations.

Offering a tour of his humble abode on TikTok, the owner revealed he bought the apartment in the spire of St Pancras station for a staggering £2.4million in 2005.

The flat features vast wooden beams to support the building with views of not only the clock tower and spires of St Pancras, but also the whole of London.

Now worth a reported £10million, the owner offered viewers an insight into the unique home, opening up about the pricey maintenance fees he has to pay on top of his mortgage.

Walking through the grand corridors to get to the aparment, the video starts with stunning views across the capital.

He then goes on to reveal he spends £3,000 a month on service charges to maintain the old building.

The kitchen is surprisingly modern but still features some of the traditional architecture, including stained glass windows and wooden beams.

The kitchen also has a skylight that looks directly up at the clock tower.

Located over three floors, the owner rents out the living room that boasts a piano to musicians who are able to play and record music in the room.

The apartment features ladders throughout that lead to different floors, with a balcony on the top floor with stunning views across London.

There is also a library on one of the floors that is reached by one of the old ladders installed decades ago.

The ceilings are 12 metres high, offering an open feel to the apartment.

Unsurprisingly, the owner admits he’s “obsessed” with clock towers, having pictures of famous ones from around the world on the brick walls.

There are two bedrooms in the apartment, and the owner revealed he has to allow access to maintenance people when the clock needs repairing.

It has direct access to the famous clock, reached by ladders. But the apartment seemed to split viewers, with some claiming the buyer was “ripped off”.

One person said: “£2.4million would buy you a literal castle on a country estate up here in Northumberland. You could fly down to London each day for £900 a month.” Another said: “It looks disappointing for the money.”

But some praised the owner for the unique purchase. One wrote: “You can see the pride and enthusiasm on him. Nice of him to share a peek inside. Good on him for preserving that building.”
