Hunt for woman accused of racially abusing and spitting at bus passengers
A woman is accused of racially abusing an elderly pensioner on crutches and spitting at two others while on a bus.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 23 at 4.30pm on board the northbound route 24 bus to Hampstead Heath in London.
It was on Tottenham Court Road, near Goodge Street Tube station at the time.
Several passengers stepped in to try and help the disabled woman before the suspect turned around and spat at the other passengers.
Police officers are now on the hunt for the woman pictured in the photograph, who they believe is the suspect.
They are also appealing for the victim who was racially abused to come forward and talk to them.
Anyone who recognises the woman in the photo, knows the victim, or has information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 4329/10AUG.
