‘Hugely respected’ police sergeant who died after being struck by train pictured
A hero police officer who died after being hit by a train while attempting to save a distressed man has been pictured as family and friends have released devastating tributes.
Sergeant Graham Saville, a response officer based at Newark Police Station in Nottinghamshire, suffered serious injuries after he was hit in Balderton six days ago.
The 46-year-old was rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre and died yesterday, MailOnline reports.
