A huge blaze has ripped through a 14th century castle in southern Japan.
Dramatic images show flames have completely ravaged Shuri Castel, a Unesco World Heritage site in Naha, Okinawa.
The fire broke out on the early hours of October 31 and appears to have quickly spread.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and there is no report of injury.
Dozens of firefighters are battling the flames and people have been evacuated from the local area, CNN reports.
Police say the main hall and a nearby building have burned to the ground, and another building is burning.
Crews were reportedly called to the fire at about 12am on Thursday morning (3pm on Wednesday, UK time).
