Huge 10-foot crocodile spotted in swimming pool
A homeowner was shocked to discover a massive crocodile paddling around their swimming pool.
The 10ft-long creature was found at a property on the island of Plantation Key in Florida, in the US, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The homeowner got in touch with Pesky Critters Wildlife Control to remove the reptile.
A heart-stopping video shows Todd Hardwick from the company trying to capture the crocodile with a snare as it thrashes around in the illuminated pool.
Together with colleague Jeff Peterla, Todd eventually manages to get control of the animal and pulls it out of the pool and onto the deck.
A police officer helped the pair move the beast to a safer location and the video shows it being released into the wild.
It’s been a busy few days for the Pesky Critters team. Last week they trapped an enormous alligator that had decided to take a stroll on a motorway in Florida Keys, causing a major traffic pile-up.

The men, armed with duct tape and a snare, had the unenviable job of trying to shift it from Highway 1 in Key Largo.
It was eventually apprehended by the team and later released into the wild.
There are around 1,500 to 2,000 crocodiles and an estimated 1.3 million alligators in Florida.
Although crocodile and alligator attacks on humans do happen in the state, they are relatively rare.
