Trooping the Colour has marked the official birthday of Britain’s sovereign for centuries.
For 2020 and 2021, a much smaller version of Trooping the Colour took place without its usual crowds at Windsor Castle due to coronavirus.
But this year the event is expected to return to Buckingham Palace in all its glory.
The action will be broadcast live by the BBC, but if you want to see it live for yourself there is a process to follow.

When is Trooping the Colour this year?
Trooping the Colour is usually held on the second Saturday of June, but this year the event will take place on a Thursday.
Trooping the Colour is scheduled to kick off the four-day bank holiday weekend on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
More than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will be on parade for the event which starts at Buckingham Palace.
The parade then makes its way through the crowds down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade.
Traditionally, members of the Royal Family join the parade on horseback and in carriages.
Then to mark the end of the parade, an RAF fly-past will jet across the skies.
