How Meghan Markle has really spent her break from royal duty revealed – ‘Full work mode!’

The Duchess is working with a boss at her former Hollywood publicist’s on a plan to raise “tens of millions of dollars” for the foundation. She is said to be in “full work mode” behind the scenes of her and Harry’s vacation. DailyMailTv revealed the Duchess has been working with PR advisor and close friend Keleigh Thomas Morgan.

The two are working on building a US strategy for Meghan and Harry’s charity venture called Sussex Royal, The Foundation of the D&D of Sussex.

LA sources claim Ms Thomas Morgan secretly helped Meghan on the charity launch and fundraising drive, as well as helping her plan a strategy for the next 18 months.

The PR advisor is a partner and head of West Coast giant Sunshine Sachs, where Meghan was a client before her engagement to Harry.

Ms Thomas Morgan is working with the Duchess privately, not through the firm.

While she may be assisting Meghan, it is understood the Duchess is very much “running things”.

The royal insists on maintaining completely creative control as well as making all executive decisions.

Prince Harry is understood to have given his wife the reins and and his full backing.

A source told DailyMailTV: “Meghan may officially be on her royal break, but don’t believe she is taking her foot off the gas.

“The break and Thanksgiving of course have been a time to balance the needs of her family, but you cannot underestimate what an incredible force Meghan is.”

“Thomas Morgan has been a huge help in turning Meghan’s vision into reality.”

They added: “She is also acting as a great networker, helping build out relationships and business arrangements once Meghan has set up links to her other celebrity supporters and friends.

“What is most interesting is that Meghan feels that while the charity will be a worldwide venture, she sees Hollywood and American business circles as key to fundraising.

“Meghan feels that with the wealth in the US, focusing on fundraising stateside will bring in tens of millions of dollars quickly.”

Sunshine Sachs is one of the biggest PR agencies in the US and represents many Hollywood A-listers, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman and Barbara Streisand.

The organisation also has expertise in managing charity events.

In recent years the firm oversaw the Global Green Oscar gala, The Thirst Gala, The Gracie Awards and Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Grants Banquet.

Meghan and Ms Thomas Morgan became close when the PR executive represented her during her stint on Suits, she attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May 2018.

A US presence for the royal couple’s foundation would be highly profitable.

Despite this, the Sussexes are yet to submit any paperwork to establish the foundation in the US.

The source said Meghan and Harry are determined to build the foundation into one of the biggest philanthropic organisations on the planet.

They added: “While Harry and Meghan are technically on rest, she is not the type of woman who likes doing nothing; so this break actually could be seen by some as very fortuitous.

“This is a mission that Meghan has been on for a long time,’ the source said.”

The source claimed: “Even in her younger years in Hollywood, she wanted to work towards creating an international charity changing lives.

“Now that she has the platform and profile of being a British royal she can truly build this plan.

“She sees this foundation as one of the key factors in creating a legacy as a new royal and Harry is right behind her.

“She is plowing much of her time and energy into getting every aspect of the charity ready.”
