Hospital worker had sex with at least 100 corpses as he admits to 1987 killings
David Fuller, 67, of Heathfield, East Sussex confessed that he had also sexually abused over 99 women during his time as a worker in a hospital. Fuller has admitted to murdering Wendy Knell and Caroline Pierce in Tunbridge Wells.
During his murder trial at Maidstone Crown Court, the 67-year-old pleaded guilty to the sickening accusations.
Prior to his trial, Fuller had admitted to sexually abusing many dead bodies in two Kent hospital morgues over 12 years.
The murders which Fuller carried out have been dubbed the “Bedsit Murders”.
Before admitting guilt, Fuller had said that he murdered the women subject to “diminished responsibility”, but had denied the charge of murder.

The charges given to Fuller include counts of sexual penetration of a corpse, sexual abuse in relation to corpses, indecent images of children, extreme pornography, and voyeurism.
Fuller worked in electrical maintenance at hospitals from 1989 and was at the Kent and Sussex Hospital, until it closed in September 2011.
The court heard that in the case of Ms Knell, the woman had been murdered in her own home in Guildford Road on 23 June 1987, with her boyfriend finding her body the next morning.
Ms Pierce had been abducted from outside her home on November 24 with the information surrounding her death being far more unclear than that of Ms Knell.
Fuller was known to have carried out at least 30 burglaries in the 1970’s.
However, Fuller was never convicted for any of these burglaries.
After being arrested for the murders, a search of Fuller’s home found millions of indecent images and videos of children and extreme pornography on hard drives, floppy discs, DVDs and memory cards in his loft and spare room.

Fuller’s saliva and other DNA was found on Ms Knell’s bedding, towel and intimate samples during a search following her body being discovered.
The 67-year-old’s semen was also found on the only bit of clothing which Ms Pierce had on when her body was found – her tights.
The entire police operation is said to have cost £2.5million.
During the search of his home, footage was found of Fuller showing him abusing the corpses in the hospitals where he worked.
The worker would use his swipe card to gain entry into the rooms where the corpses were being held.
Twenty of Fuller’s victims have been unable to be identified with Det Ch Supt Paul Fotheringham saying it “may never be possible to identify these women with complete certainty”.
