Robert Hall and his neighbours have had to push the stone blocks aside to get to and from their homes, which are each worth up to £1million. Mr Hall claims the dumping is linked to an ongoing dispute with the owner of the management firm for the building.

Mr Hall alleges owner Mick Dunbar tried to bill him and other residents for £11,000 apiece following a water leak in December last year.

He has instructed a firm of solicitors over the matter, claims the total cost of the work was carried out for £66,000 by Mr Dunbar’s firm, MD Construction when it could have been done by other firms for as little as £25,000.

And now the homeowner believes the row has resulted in the stone blocks being placed at the entrance of their properties near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, on Wednesday, blocking all cars coming in or out.

Footage, shared by Yorkshire Live, shows a JCB vehicle transport a scrap car onto, seemingly, a driveway along the leafy street.

It is understood this was filmed at around 9am yesterday.

Mr Hall, who lives at the property with his wife, said a meeting was arranged with the management firm on June 9 when he and the other leaseholders refused to pay the bills over the row.

Mr Hall said: “We have pushed the stone blocks aside so we can get through.”

The homeowner alleges West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service demanded the stone blocks were moved last week as they posed a risk in the event of a fire.

Mr Dunbar, who owns one of the plush apartments on the street, did not respond to a request for comment.

The bitter row comes after a homeowner was distraught when Virgin Media workmen installed a massive connection box right outside her property.

Hanna Dillon, 32, pleaded with contractors to move the four-foot high box in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
