Hollywood celebs stay away from Harry and Meghan over fears of trustworthiness
Tina Brown calls Harry and Meghan ‘fascination figures’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be losing favour in Hollywood as sources claim the couple are not trusted by their fellow celebrities due to their tendency to spill secrets.
Since they stepped down as working royals in 2020 the Duke and Duchess have continued to make money and headlines by speaking out about their time in the Firm.
In March 2021, they gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey about their experiences, with their Netflix docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’ and Harry’s memoir Spare being released last December and January respectively.
Now it has been rumoured that those hoping to curry favour with Prince William and Princess Kate with projects in the UK are giving Harry and Meghan a wide berth.
This comes as the couple’s money-making ventures were further dashed when their deal with Spotify was recently terminated after just one series of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes.

According to NewsNation some of their celebrity neighbours in Montecito, including Rob Lowe, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Steven Spielberg, fear the Sussexes may spill some of their secrets if they become close friends.
Oprah Winfrey also reportedly did not invite the couple to her most recent birthday party in spite of them opening up to her in their 2021 interview.
The outlet’s senior story producer Paula Froelich told NewsNation: “Everyone’s got a movie to sell and a Broadway play they want to debut on screen in London or [London’s] West End and they know that Prince William and Kate — who are the biggest [celebrities] over there won’t show it if they think someone is friends with Harry and Meghan.

“My sources tell me it’s all about the money. And the big power players in Hollywood aren’t jeopardizing their business for Harry and Meghan.”
It was recently reported that Harry and Meghan were denied a flight back to the US on Air Force One with President Joe Biden and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, following Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral last September.
The Duke may also have annoyed actress Courteney Cox with a story in his autobiography Spare about taking mushrooms while at a party at her house.
In the book, Harry wrote that while at the event in LA, an unnamed actor opened the fridge and allegedly showed him a box of “black diamond mushroom chocolates”.
He wrote: “My mate and I grabbed several, gobbled them, washed them down with tequila”, before he went on to experience hallucinations.
However, the Friends star denied supplying the mushrooms, later telling Variety magazine: “I definitely wasn’t passing them out.”
