‘He’s just had SIX-WEEK break where is sense of duty!?’ Nick Ferrari rages at Prince Harry
In a shocking Instagram announcement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they wish to step down from being “senior royals.” In their post, they insisted they wanted to step away from the royal limelight and focus on raising their son Archie and their charities while being ‘financially independent.” LBC’s Nick Ferrari took aim at the royal couple and explained to a caller the pair would not become financially independent for a variety of reasons before attacking Harry for having a long holiday.
The LBC caller said: “I can’t believe they have walked away. I also can’t see how they are going to be financially independent.”
Mr Ferrari then interjected: “They can’t be. I have been doing some work on this.
“The Prince of Wales give his sons 4.9 million pounds.
“It is thought that William takes a slightly greater share of that. So Harry is in for around two and a quarter million pounds a year.

“The House they have in Windsor, the cottage, Prince William and Meghan Markle have is worth around 3.5 million pounds.
“We have already spent 2.4 million pounds in total and there is a bit more to spend so it will be somewhere around three million pounds.
“The last job Harry had was Lieutenant in the Household Cavalry, which earns £36,0000 per year plus he likes private jets.
“How is he going to pay for it?”
The caller replied: “Well he can’t presumably and we will pick up the tab for protection for the rest of his life and the family as well.”
Mr Ferrari later added: “He has just had a six-week break – he still looks very unhappy. Does no duty kick in at all?”
The LBC host closed by saying: “That is the other aspect because they want to live this sort of globetrotting world.
“This means they will be boarding aircraft, private or otherwise and you and I will be funding Met police detectives to go with them.”
