Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has widened the ULEZ zone so it will now stretch from the North Circular to the South Circular, but the ULEZ plan was first proposed by Boris Johnson during his tenure as London Mayor.

The ULEZ expansion means drivers of the “most pollutant” vehicles will have to pay a £12.50 daily charge for driving within London’s ULEZ.
For any non-compliant vehicles driving in areas where the ULEZ and congestion charge apply will have to pay both, totalling £27.50.
