Have Harry and Meghan ruined chances of a royal Christmas reconciliation?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have spent the past four Christmases away from the UK, and it seems like this year will follow suit.

With just days to go to Christmas Day, an invitation to Sandringham for Meghan, Harry and their two children Archie Harrison, four, and Lilibet Diana, two is looking less and less likely.

Ever since the couple opted to exit the Royal Family and move to the US, tensions between the Duke of Sussex and his family have been growing.

And the release of Omid Scobie’s explosive new book Endgame has done nothing to help relations, with several accusations levelled at senior members of the Firm.

However, one expert has said Meghan and Harry are still looking to “patch up” their relationship with the Royal Family ahead of Christmas.

Experts have said King Charles would like to spend the festive season with his youngest son, but it’s “not that simple” as there is still a lot of “hostility” within the Firm.

In particular Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales are said to be frustrated with the Sussexes.

The King is also said to be “deeply nervous” the Sussexes would “leak” any private discussions following Harry’s book Spare, the recent release of Omid Scobie’s Endgame and several interviews the couple have undertaken in recent years.

As it stands Meghan and Harry are not on the King’s Sandringham guest list, which includes Queen Camilla’s children, Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles, and their children for the first time.

So what do you think, have Harry and Meghan left it too late? Or could they patch things up before Christmas?
