Harry’s hilarious dance at ice hockey game leaves everyone saying the same thing

Prince Harry indulged his light-hearted side as he was filmed doing a hilarious victory dance as he and Meghan Markle watched the Vancouver Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks at the Rogers Arena in the Canadian city on Monday night.

The Duke and Duchess were in Canada to promote the next Invictus Games, which will be held in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025, but took a break from work to watch the ice hockey game.

At one point Harry and Meghan jumped up in the air in celebration of a goal, with Harry doing a little dance and laughing as his wife also clapped and cheered.

Fans on X, formerly Twitter, were all saying the same thing about the sweet moment, with one commenting on the video: “Prince Harry’s little dance is everything. Happiness looks good on Meghan and Harry.”

Another added: “My man, Prince Harry, about to bust out his celebratory dance moves….then caught himself!!!”

A third fan wrote: “I’m obsessed they’re so cute” followed by two face emojis with love heart eyes.

Another X account posted: “Harry and Meghan so cute and lovable” followed by a series of emojis to demonstrate their admiration, a waving smiley face, a love heart and a laughing face.

Others pointed out that Meghan has long been a Canucks fan, having watched a game back in 2015 with her friend Heather Dorak, with her sharing a photo of the event on her old social media.

When the Canucks won the match, the Duchess put down her wine glass so she could join her husband in a celebratory dance to the Simple Minds hit Don’t You Forget About Me.

At the start of the match Harry was honoured with the opportunity to put down the first puck, just as his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth did when she was on her Golden Jubilee tour of Canada in 2002.

The couple were joined in their VIP box by Markus Anderson, a friend of Meghan’s from Toronton who helped her organise her first date with Harry back in 2016.

Mr Anderson is the Chief Membership Officer of Soho House, the swanky private members’ club where Meghan and Harry met for the first time in their Soho venue.

Less than two years later the couple married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, having their son Prince Archie the following year before departing from royal life in 2020.

Now the Sussexes live with Archie and his little sister Princess Lilibet in Montecito, California, with the family rarely making the trip over to the UK.

However a thawing of relations seems to have begun as Harry enjoyed a phone call with his father King Charles last week, to celebrate the latter’s 75th birthday.

This has led to some speculation that Harry and Meghan could one day attend another royal Christmas in Sandringham, having not spent the festive season there since 2018.
