Harry was expected to make UK appearance this weekend – but couldn’t due to COVID-19
Harry was set to make an appearance in the UK for the London Marathon on Sunday. But the running event in the capital has been postponed until October 4 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Harry, who is patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, regularly attends the race.
In March it was announced that this year’s race would be postponed.
Event director Hugh Brasher said: “The world is in an unprecedented situation grappling with a global pandemic of COVID-19 and public health is everyone’s priority.
“We know how disappointing this news will be for so many – the runners who have trained for many months, the thousands of charities for which they are raising funds and the millions who watch the race every year.”
The Sussexes are currently living close to Hollywood with their son Archie, who turns one in May.
Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, officially quit royal duties on March 31.
They announced plans to step back as senior royals in a bombshell statement in January.
The couple had hoped for a dual role supporting the Queen and earning their own money but the idea was deemed unworkable.
They will now spend most of their time overseas and stop using their HRH titles.
Harry was criticised earlier this month after claiming the UK’s coronavirus crisis was not as bad as the public are being told.
In an interview on the Declassified podcast, the Prince said things are “better than we are led to believe through certain corners of the media”.

But Harry’s comments were branded “outrageous” by a leading professor.
Professor Karol Sikora told The Sun: “I think these remarks are outrageous.
“As for the media, I really don’t understand what Harry’s beef is.
“Journalists have been reporting the facts and have been doing great work in holding the Government to account.
“The media has also championed the NHS and become a key ally of doctors, nurses and key workers. They should be applauded, not vilified.”
Meghan and Harry have been busy delivering food to vulnerable people in Los Angeles.
The pair was spotted casually dressed and hidden behind baseball cap and sunglasses as they engaged in the charity work.
There have been 148,377 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK, with the death toll at 20,319.
