Prince Harry is being urged to stay in the UK until at least Wednesday as a gesture to the Queen. The plea comes with the Queen set to celebrate her 95th birthday this coming Wednesday – the first during her reign without Prince Philip by her side. It remains unclear how long Prince Harry will stay in the UK following yesterday’s funeral for Prince Philip.
Royal expert Victoria Arbiter said that “it would be nice if Harry could be a part” of the Queen’s birthday.
She noted that the Royal Family is trying to rally together around the Queen.
Australian TV’s Sunrise host asked Ms Arbiter: “Is there any clue as to when Harry is going to be returning to the US?
“It would be nice to think he could stick around in the UK a little longer to mend some of those bridges.”
Ms Arbiter responded: “There has been no official word yet. Having been away from his heavily pregnant wife for a week, he is understood to be keen to get back.”

She continued: “But you’re absolutely right. It would be lovely for him to be able to stick around.
“The funeral was the first chance he was able to see his family since March of last year following the Commonwealth Day service.
“So, it wasn’t the day to have those important conversations that need to be had in order to repair the damage the family has experienced.
“It would be really nice if Harry was able to stick around until at least Wednesday, which will be the Queen’s 95th birthday.

“It will be her first birthday without her consort since 1948.
“So I think there will be a family presence rallying around her on Wednesday. It would be nice if Harry could be a part of that.”
Harry is understood to have returned to Frogmore Cottage after reuniting with William at Prince Philip’s funeral.
Royal aides are understood to have made space in Prince Charles’ diary for a private one-on-one walk with Harry before he returns to California.

The Duke of Sussex arrived from the US on Sunday for the funeral and was required to quarantine upon arrival.
It was previously reported earlier this week that Harry would only stay across the pond “for a week” before going back to California.
Prior to the funeral, an insider told Us Weekly that the Duke of Sussex was “already really missing Meghan and Archie and has been FaceTiming them every day to check-in”.
The source added: “He actually speaks to Meghan a few times a day because he worries about leaving her when she’s so far along in her pregnancy.”
