Buckingham Palace are facing further difficulties with the Sussexes, as Prince Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir threatens to “put a bomb” into the midst of the Royal Family. Royal commentator Angela Levin said the decision to release the memoir during the year of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was “unheard of”, as the royals prepare to maintain the focus on Her Majesty.

Angela Levin told GB News: “The next thing is his memoir that is coming out to coincide with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, unheard of really.

“Something she should be the centre of and everyone should work towards her, congratulate her, this extraordinary woman, but no Harry is going have another book.

“Rumour has it, it’s going to put a bomb into the Royal Family, not literally of course.

“Actually it’s not going to be nice, someone told me it was going to be all about his late mother’s death which we’ve heard of before, he can’t move on. Also, the people he blames for it.

“Well, he was only 12 when she died which is a very difficult age, I absolutely am not trying to take away from that, but it’s not going to make anything easier working with the Palace.”

Prince Harry announced his book deal with Penguin Random House on July 19, promising to release an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life.

In a statement, the Duke said: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

The publishers said they were “thrilled” to be publishing the account of “one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time”.

The memoir promises to cover Prince Harry’s childhood, his career in both the military and the Royal Family, and his new role as a husband and father.

Whilst details of the global book deal have been kept under wraps, it is estimated that the Duke received a $20million advance for the memoir.

It is being ghost-written by J. R. Moehringer, a Pultizer prize-winning author, and proceeds from the book sales will be donated to charity.

With the memoir due for release in late 2022, it threatens to disrupt the year-long festivities that will take place to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

To celebrate 70 years as British monarch, the Royal Family will participate in a number of celebrations across the country to honour Her Majesty.

This includes an extended Bank Holiday from the 2nd-5th of June, which will include a huge Trooping the Colour, a concert at Buckingham Palace, street parties, and a pageant on the Sunday.

The Royal Family will also take tours across the country and the Commonwealth to recognise her 70 years of service.

It is unknown if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the festivities with their two children, Archie Harrison, and Lilibet Diana.
