Harry hopes Archie can fulfil one life aspiration despite expert fears – ‘it’s impossible’

Princess Anne turned down a HRH title for her daughter Zara who now lives in Gloucester with her family and is not tied to any royal duties. Zara and her husband Mike have a relatively normal life with their two children Mia Grace and Lena Elizabeth. However, they do live on the sprawling Gatcombe Park estate

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told Fabulous Digital: “Zara’s lived a charmed life, she’s got the best of the both worlds in a way that Harry would dream of.

“If Prince Harry is set his sights on raising Archie in a similar vein where he can live in the big houses and basically be a royal but not a royal, live a normal life with a normal job – that is something that Archie could never have.

“It is impossible that Archie could have a Zara Phillips life.”

Meghan Markle and Harry have tried to keep Archie Harrison’s life private since he was born in May.

Archie’s christening was a private affair with the names of the godparents even remaining a secret from the public.

Archie is also yet to receive a royal title.

Mr Larcombe explained why Harry will struggle maintain a pressure-free life for his son.

He said: “If you asked who Princess Anne was, I think very few people would know. Archie’s parents are so high profile. Certainly if they remain as working royals as well.

“I think in terms of Archie, poor old Harry will try and protect Archie as much as he can but he’ll ultimately be fighting a losing battle. The interest in them as a couple is just so big.”

Mr Larcombe also discussed Zara’s life where she has remained a part of the royal family yet out of the spotlight.

He continued: “She lives a non-royal life, a private ordinary person, but when it suits her, she’s more than happy to sponsorship for a million pounds from Land Rover and cash in on my granny is the queen.

“They are the only members of the royal family that appear to don’t have a care in the world.

“They are very much middle class, there is nothing upper class about the way they live at all.

“In Zara’s mind, she’s not a royal apart from when it’s Christmas Day and she’s with the Queen or Trooping the Colour and she stands on the balcony or Royal Ascot and she’s with them.”
