Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be trying to make their Netflix documentary series kinder to the Royal Family, according to reports.

Harry and Meghan allegedly made the intervention after spending time with The Firm after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Netflix series, which had been expected to be released later this year, will now not appear until early 2023, it has been reported.

Sources told Page Six the couple were keen to remove or soften much of what they have said about the King and Queen Consort and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

An insider said: “A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall.

“I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?”

A Netflix source added: “Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December.

“There’s a lot of pressure on [Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished.”
