Harry and Meghan to face ‘parenting test’ with pair’s differences laid bare

Experts have warned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could face a “major problem” if they fail to overcome their “next big test” after reportedly being in disagreements over how to raise their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parents to Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

According to reports, Harry is keen for privacy when it comes to raising Archie and Lilibet, while Meghan hopes to raise the pair openly in California.

The children are often kept out of the public eye, with the pair rarely seen stepping outside of the family’s mansion in Montecito.

Royal expert Tom Bower said the conflict could represent a major obstacle in the couple’s relationship.

Talking to GB News, the royal biographer said the couple had come from “different cultures” meaning there was always likely to be a difference in opinion.

He said: “Harry has never been properly educated, he had terrible A levels. He has never understood education, whereas Meghan worked really hard and got into a good college, so there is bound to be a clash.

“I think recent photographs have shown Meghan is happy without Harry, and Harry is happy without Meghan, so what is going to happen when they get back together.

“There’s a clash of cultures, a clash of interests, but they will have to one way or another reconcile it. In the end, what is always an issue is how to bring up your children, and if you can’t agree on that, it becomes a major problem.

“That’s going to be their next big test, how are they going to educate and bring up the children?”

An insider told The Sun that Meghan has not been overly impressed by Harry’s recent focus on three high-profile High Court cases in London against the media.

Although she supports him, she has not accompanied him during his visits to London to take part in the court hearings.

Since the publication of Spare, the couple have been seen just four times together after rumours they are struggling.

The insider said: “Meghan would love to be done with all the legal stuff. But she’s still supportive of him as she knows how important it is to him. But she is ready to move on. They have a beautiful life in California and new friends. Montecito is paradise. Harry is very outdoorsy, he loves it there.”
