Harry and Meghan ordered to stop being ‘cowards’ and return to UK to face Queen and Philip
Meghan Markle and Harry ‘cowards’ for staying in US says Levin
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be avoiding returning to the UK in fear of encountering an “awkward” meeting with the rest of the Royal Family, commentators have claimed. Royal biographer Angela Levin spoke to talkRADIO’s Mike Graham about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s continued absence from Britain. Both of them expressed fury at the couple, who have been abroad since they officially stepped down in April, especially due to the frail nature of the Queen and Prince Philip.
Mr Graham told listeners: “When we think about what the world has gone through this year, in particular, it’s not really anybody’s fault that people are far away from one another.
“But there doesn’t seem to be any urgency from California, from Harry and Meghan, to come back and see Prince Philip, who is not getting any younger.
“The Queen is also racking up the years, and anybody else in the family.
“They could have come home for Christmas, couldn’t they? It’s not as if they’re spending it with her dad.”

Ms Levin agreed: “I think they’re cowards, I think they don’t want to do that because they will feel awkward.
“The conversation will be awkward and I think they’re just cowards staying away.
“There’s no reason why they couldn’t come.
“If they do, they won’t be able to have their little cottage because pregnant Eugenie and her husband are in there.”
Meghan Markle and Harry 'nowhere near' Queen says Levin
Reportedly the Sussexes have opened up Frogmore Cottage, their UK-based home, to Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, ahead of the birth of her first child in spring.
Harry and Meghan will also still use Frogmore as their home when they are in Britain.
According to sources in their office, the Sussexes had planned to return to the UK soon after their April departure.

However they have been waylaid due to the coronavirus pandemic and international travel restrictions.
Harry himself has confirmed that he is planning on returning home in time for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, and that he would be already been in the UK this year.
The Duke, who is the patron of the Rugby Football League, made the comments on a video call with players, coaches, and volunteers as the organisation celebrated its 125th anniversary.
At the end of August, he said to them: “We’ve got a whole Rugby League World Cup coming next year, so I definitely plan on coming back.
“I would have been back already had it not been for Covid.”
