Harry and Meghan ‘more engaging’ to public than ‘restrained’ William and Kate

Prince Harry jokes about ‘gingers’ in Stand Up for Heroes address

A recent study from GetInsta revealed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “keen to engage with their audience” more than their “conservative peers” Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Unlike the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Sussex royals have let the public into their personal lives since stepping back as senior members of the Royal family.

Since their official exit in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have established a new life in California by welcoming their daughter Lilibet and expanding The Archewell Foundation.

The following year, the couple unearthed some bombshell claims about their departure, family struggles, and racism during an unforgettable interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry then released a tell-all memoir titled Spare detailing key moments in his life including a brutal physical fight with William.

A spokesperson from GetInsta stated: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shown that they’re keen to engage with their audience online, having released a documentary to connect directly with the public and help shape their narrative.

“It’s no surprise that they are more engaging online than their more restrained and conservative peers, Prince William and Kate Middleton.”

They added: “It wouldn’t be a surprise if they continue to build on their engagement over the next few months.”

Prince Harry and Meghan have continued to make public appearances as they recently showed up together at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Meghan is also said to be planning her “Hollywood comeback” as it was reported her “dream of making it big in Hollywood is still alive and well.”

Earlier this year, Spotify and the Sussexes “mutually” agreed to part ways – putting an end to Meghan’s own Archeypes podcast after just 12 episodes.

Spotify executive Bill Simmons publicly piled on the humiliation further by branding the couple “grifters” during an episode of his own podcast.

Despite this Harry and Meghan still have their bumper multi-year deal with Netflix worth a rumored $100 million.

Their company, Archewell Productions, has also reportedly bought the film rights to the bestselling novel Meet Me at the Lake, which could be adapted for the streaming giant.

This comes at a reported cost of $3.8 million for the adaptation rights.

Although it’s yet to be seen if Meghan will return to screens, the Suits star is also said to be planning a major relaunch that could surprise many.

Mark Boardman, an entertainment expert who is also CEO of MarkMeets, told Daily Express US she could “try producing for the first time to give her greater control of the content.”
