Harry and Meghan denied return flight on Air Force One after Queen’s funeral
It has been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to travel back to the US on Air Force One after the late Queen’s funeral last September.
Sources reveal the couple’s request, which was denied by the White House, was dismissed over fears that it would cause “commotion”.
Months prior to the denied request, First Lady Jill Biden was invited to Harry’s Invictus Games.
Despite an invite, she did not attend over fears that her presence could offend the Royal Family.
It has been revealed that the Invictus Games invite was just one of a few methods that the couple used to connect with political figures such as the Bidens.

It has been discovered that the couple also sought access in the political field, such as letter writing.
In 2021, Meghan penned an open letter to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, asking the elected officials to champion paid family leave.
