Grieve admits he is ‘delighted’ with Supreme Court ruling as he attacks ‘gross’ Johnson
Remainer Dominic Grieve insisted that Boris Johnson had been misbehaving in his quest to deliver Brexit. While on the BBC with Victoria Derbyshire he exclaimed that he was “delighted” with the decision. He added that it was obvious that it was going to go this way because Mr Johnson’s “gross behaviour”.
“I am not surprised by the judgement of the Supreme Court.
“This is because of the gross misbehaviour by the Prime Minister.
“Boris Johnson is the one who has been pushing the envelope of our constitution to the point where he is prepared to breach it.
“It was perfectly obvious that the reasoning and motivation for the prorogation was bogus and untrue.

“I am delighted that the Supreme Court has stopped this unconstitutional act in its tracks.
“What he should now be doing, the Prime Minister is pausing and reflecting on the untold damage he is doing to our institutions.
“He has done this through his reckless and relentless desire to achieve Brexit on the 31st of October.
“He needs to actually start engaging with a dialogue with the House of Commons about how we get out of the hole into which we have succeeded in digging ourselves and the country.”
William Hill is now offering just 8/1 that Boris Johnson is no longer PM at Midnight on Friday (27th September).
Meanwhile, Hills have also trimmed the price of Ken Clarke being the next PM and he is now 8/1 from 10/1.
William Hill Spokesman Rupert Adams said: “The odds suggest the Supreme Court ruling is a serious blow for the Prime Minister and there is a real chance that he could be gone by the weekend.
