The Duke of Cambridge shared the moving video on Friday to promote the new book, related to the Earthshot prize, Earthshot: How to Save our Planet. The Earthshot prize is an award given annually from 2021 to 2030, for five winners each year whose work has helped the environment.

The Prize is given by the Royal Foundation. It was reported in Hello, Jason Knauf, CEO of The Royal Foundation, said: “The challenge The Duke set himself was ‘What is the maximum positive personal contribution I can make in the next ten years in the fight against climate change?

“What am I going to do in the next decade that means I can look my children in the eye and say that I did my bit?’ Every aspect of the Prize bears the stamp of his contribution.”

However, royal fans soon spotted the family picture that was on display behind him in the video.

The picture is of Prince Philip and Prince William’s son George when he was two, the Duke of Cambridge had previously released the photo after his grandfather’s death.

Kate has also marked birthdays and anniversaries in her family by photographs she has taken.

She recently took a photograph of Prince George released to mark his eighth birthday on July 22.

Prince Philip sadly passed away just a few months before his 100th birthday in April.

The Duke of Edinburgh loved carriage driving. Philip’s love of carriage driving was well known and he was often spotted out with his ponies.

In the book he wrote about the sport, 30 Years On And Off The Box Seat, he said: “I am getting old, my reactions are getting slower, and my memory is unreliable, but I have never lost the sheer pleasure of driving a team through the British countryside.”

“It then suddenly occurred to me that this carriage-driving might be just the sport.”

The Duke continued to compete in demanding carriage driving competitions into his 80s.
