A young girl has been rushed to hospital after she was attacked by a “pack of dogs” in Greater Manchester on Sunday evening.

The incident took place at an address in Ackers Lane, Carrington, and is understood to have involved up to four dogs.

Reports suggest three people have been arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog and four animals have been seized. The girl remains in a stable condition in hospital, Greater Manchester Police told the BBC.
