Girl, 2, dies after being hit by vehicle outside holiday park

A two-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car at a holiday park in Cambridgeshire.

Isabella Tucker, from East London, was knocked down at Horsley Hale Farm near Littleport at around 6.45pm on August 25.

The toddler was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, but later died of her injuries.

Her mum Vaida Sprainyte said: ‘A beautiful daughter and little sister.

‘It’s so easy to love you. Loved you from first sight and will love you forever.’

Cambridgeshire Police said a 42-year-old woman from the Leeds area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

She has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on November 24.

The force has asked anyone who was at the holiday park and may have witnessed the collision to get in touch using its website, quoting incident reference 35/NT/16816/23.
