Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will play a key role in the King’s Coronation. The royal children to Prince William and Kate Middleton are to participate in a carriage ride to Buckingham Palace after King Charles III takes to the throne.

But plans for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are currently not in place, according to reports.

George, nine, Charlotte, seven, and Louis, five, will join William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, behind a Gold State Coach that will transport Charles and Queen Camilla on May 6.

After they arrive at Buckingham Palace, the Royal Family will appear on the balcony to wave at onlookers and conclude the day.

As second in line to the throne, George was already widely expected to have a role in the ceremony.

He and Charlotte both appeared at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral last year, while Louis was considered too young to participate in the service.

However, while William and Kate’s kids are involved in the royal occasion, Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children have reportedly not even been invited yet.

The Telegraph reported that neither Prince Archie, three, nor Princess Lilibet, one, have received an invitation to the Coronation.

Archie, born on May 6, will turn four during his grandfather’s ascent to the throne.

Previous reports held Meghan was considering staying in the US to celebrate Archie’s birthday, while Harry flies over to the UK.

A royal source told the MailOnline that Archie and Lilibet could be involved in the Coronation as well, but only if Meghan and Harry confirm they will attend.

“Two versions of the plans [for the day] are being drawn up,” they said.

“One includes Harry and Meghan and one doesn’t. Timings are all approximate at this stage, but they are working towards a timetable now.”

A Sussex royal spokesperson said earlier in March: “I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation.

“An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
