George, Charlotte and Louis join in with NHS round of applause

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis joined the rest of the nation showing their appreciation for the NHS by helping to lead the ‘Clap for Carers’ movement.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted the adorable clip of the three young royals applauding front line health workers risking their lives in the battle against coronavirus.

It was captioned: ‘To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by Covid-19: thank you.’

Footage was also released on the royal family’s Twitter account of people
taking part by cheering, clapping and banging pans at Windsor Castle.

The Prime Minister added: ‘On behalf of the whole country, I want to thank all the incredible nurses, doctors, NHS support staff & carers who are working flat out to fight coronavirus #ClapForOurCarers #ClapForNHS To help them, and protect the NHS, we need everyone to stay at home #StayHomeSaveLives’
