Speaking to GB News, reporter Bradley Harris revealed Britons have reached crisis point as queues spill out into roads across the country. The panic has been causing huge delays at pumps despite many having adequate amounts of fuel in their tanks as concerns rise whether emergency services will be impacted by the panic buying.

He said: “I witnessed somebody come over with a small jerry can and fill up about £7-£10 worth I noticed from a distance.

“That is just one case and that is likely to be happening in many places!”

He added: “People panicking, seeing the queues in the media and seeing that coverage and then thinking ‘I need to get out and get some fuel’.

“Even though they have already filled up!”

And in an astonishing moment he revealed he ad seen people on social media people filling up with “£1.60 worth of fuel”.

The reporter added: “I mean waiting in a queue for that long just seems ridiculous, because it is ridiculous!”

He insisted: “There are places I can assure you where  you can still fill up, you may have to wait a little bit longer.

“There is fuel around, it is just a case of getting it to the forecourt.”
