Gardaí investigating discovery of man's body in Tallaght
Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in Tallaght, Dublin.
The discovery was made at a house in Newhall Court shortly after 4pm today.
Emergency services and gardaí attended the scene, where the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
The deceased is understood to be aged in his forties and is originally from Lithuania.
His body remains at the scene which is currently preserved pending a forensic and technical examination.
Gardaí said they are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery and they said the course of their investigation will be “determined by the outcome of a post-mortem examination”.
