Furious caller attacks ‘disgusting’ Boris critics as they make her ‘ashamed to be British’
Speaking on LBC, the angry caller, Denise, lambasted Remainer MPs for the use of their language and the lack of respect for the Prime Minister of the UK. She added it was “disgusting” to see Boris Johnson being approached by the public in abusive rants. She said: “He’s working very hard to do what we wanted to do, what we voted for. And he’s got every way possible to do that. But there are also ministers who think they know better than what we voted for.
“They’re disgusting. And when I see when these people approach our Prime Minister and how they are so abusive, I am actually ashamed to be British.
“And the EU is actually having a good laugh, I think. I have never seen such an appalling mess of how people behave.
“Years ago we would have this in Parliament because there was respect. Whether we voted or whether we liked it or not we still had some respect in this country.
“Where is that respect for the Prime Minister when people go talk to him and go up to him?
“It’s disgusting.”

The Prime Minister was confronted by an angry parent over NHS cuts and waiting times during a fiery hospital visit on Wednesday.
He was visiting Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone, London when he was confronted by an angry parent Omar Salem, who according to his Twitter account is a Labour and Remain activist.
The anti-Brexit campaigner spoke to the Prime Minister over NHS cuts and long waiting times.
He also hit out at Mr Johnson for using the hospital visit as a press opportunity and said the “NHS has been destroyed”.
In a heated two-minute exchange, Mr Salem said the treatment of the NHS “was not acceptable”.
He said his seven-day-old daughter was treated in the maternity ward the night before, but was shocked by how understaffed the ward was.
Mr Salem said: “My daughter nearly died last night.
“There are not enough people on this ward, there are not enough doctors, there are not enough nurses, it’s not well organised enough.”

He said: “This ward is not safe for children.
“The NHS has been destroyed and now you come here for a press opportunity.”
Mr Johnson said “there’s no press here” but the parent gestured to cameras filming the confrontation and said: “What do you mean there’s no press here, who are these people?”
The Prime Minister explained he was “here to find out” about the situation but Mr Salem said: “It’s a bit late, isn’t it? Years and years and years of the NHS being destroyed.”
