Funny moment driver got stuck on beach path in famous UK holiday hotspot

The hilarious moment an SUV driver got stuck on beach path in a famous UK holiday destination was captured on camera.  In the video, a motorist got caught midway along a cliff path at Wadebridge, in the tourist hotspot of Newquay in Devon.

The vehicle made its way down the very narrow track which is used as a path by families, beachgoers, and dog walkers alike.

At one point, they seemingly realise the error of their ways and attempt to turn around on the path running alongside a golf course, down to the beach, reported Mirror.

However, due to the size of the car, and the narrow track, they end up blocking the whole path as they shunt back and forth.

The video was captured by the team at Craftworks Kitchen and shows beachgoers looking on confused as the vehicle struggles.

Posting the video on Facebook, Craftworks said: “Is this the way to Fistral Beach? Never ever seen this little trip to the beach happen.

“Driving down the pathway mid Newquay Golf Course.”

The person who shot the video added: “Another great parking disaster. Love it.”

Then speaking to someone he adds. “Ah mate [it’s] hilarious. This is one of my favourites.”

Fortunately, the driver was eventually able to get back to where cars should be.

People were generally less than impressed with the rogue bit of driving, with one person joking online they had been forced to do a “1000 point turn”.

Whilst a number of others made golf jokes – given the proximity to the course.

Tagging a friend, one person said: “It’s the best drive up the 13th I’ve seen”.

Whilst another person pointed out it was seemingly a four wheel drive car so they should be able to get out of the predicament they found themselves in.

Recently,  one Mercedes SUV got its front wheels buried in the sand, and four Audis stuck, when deciding to park on the sand all at the very same beach in Newquay in Devon.

However, in their desperate desire to get to the beach as soon as possible, one group left their electric car right on the seafront, only for the tide to come in and catch it at Port Isaac Harbour.
