Six-year-old George delighted royal fans with his giggly birthday pictures this week and is currently believed to be enjoying a summer holiday on he Caribbean island of Mustiqe with his parents, sister Princess Chalotte and borther Prince Louis. A friend of the Cambridges told People magazine the young royal was blessed with a lively spirit. The friend said: “He’s a jolly little person and inquisitive. He is full of beans.”

George is being encouraged to spend lots of time outdoors during the summer holidays whether he is on Mustique or back in London.

His mother Kate Middleton recently told Blue Peter: “Even a short amount of time — 10-15 minutes outside — makes a huge difference to both physical well-being but also to our mental well-being.”

He and Charlotte recently enjoyed a day out at a local country village fair with grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton.

Friends say George is more cautious and sensitive than his four-year-old sister but is still a bundle of fun.

A local who was also at the event told People magazine: “They were so cute, and Charlotte particularly was very friendly, politely saying hello to other children.

“George was running around, exactly like all the other children.”

George and Charlotte have also been keeping their grandparents busy playing a cute game, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents have taught the young royals to play “shopkeepers”.

Carole reportedly often takes the siblings to work at the Middleton family business, Party Pieces.

They will then pretend they run the party supply business themselves.

Royal expert Phil Dampier told Fabulous Digital: “Carole has taken the kids to Party Pieces and they played shopkeeper there with all the stock.

“Prince George goes out a lot with his grandmother Carole.

“They go to the beach there and they are very close.”

Carole is also said to spoil her grandchildren with sweets and chips.
