Fuel spillage sparks M11 chaos as queues block major route to airport

Large queues are forming on the M11 southbound as a result of a fuel spillage. It is affecting the southbound route between Saffron Walden and Bishops Stortford, close to Stansted Airport.
Maps show queues between Great Chesterford and the M11 junction for the airport.
The road is currently blocked completely with traffic very quickly forming on the final working day before Christmas weekend.
We have approached the relevant emergency services for further information.
