Prince Philip, the Queen’s beloved late husband, was passionate about protecting the environment long before the issue was at the fore. And Philip passed his environmentalism on to his son Prince Charles and his grandson Prince William. Although William’s eldest son Prince George is still a child, he has been pictured on several occasions enjoying all that nature and wildlife has to offer, suggesting he may one day pick up the environmental baton from his relatives.

George’s first birthday, 2014

Prince George spent his first birthday in none other than the Natural History Museum. An adorable snap from the day shows George’s interest in the natural world started early, with the little Prince captivated by a butterfly at the Sensational Butterflies exhibition.
