Film crew member stabbed in the neck on Warner Bros set near Watford

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the neck on a film set at the Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire.

Warner Bros told the Watford Observer that it was an “isolated workplace incident” which police were investigating.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said officers had responded to a call from the Leavesden studios, where the Harry Potter series was filmed, just after midday on Wednesday.

One man was taken to hospital with a neck injury, while another man aged 54 was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He is currently in police custody.

The police spokesperson said: “It is believed the men are known to each other.

“Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened.”

According to the Mirror, the incident was believed to have taken place on the set of The Witches movie, which will star Anne Hathaway and Chris Rock.
