Sarah Ferguson has shared a heartwarming message as she expressed her love for her daughter Princess Eugenie’s new baby boy, Ernest. The Duchess of York posted a reel on her Instagram account sharing a photo of the newborn.

She wrote: “Amazing.. The importance of Ernest Thank you so much..Clever Eugenie and Jack and August Brooksbank.”

The reel already has 173k views and more than 19.9k people have liked it. There are over 550 comments on the reel shared by Fergie.

Social media users were quick enough to congratulate the “granny” Fergie as they showered love and good wishes to the family

On Monday, Princess Eugenie gave birth to her second royal child with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The new royal baby is a little brother for her two-year-old son August, who was born in February 2021, and a third grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The baby’s full name is Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. Eugenie announced Ernest’s arrival via her official Instagram account.

Princess Eugenie the niece of King Charles, and the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York.

The baby’s middle name, George, was inspired by his great-great-great grandfather King George V, who was king between 1910 and 1936. George V’s middle name was Ernest.

His grandfather on his father’s side was also called George and Princess Eugenie’s grandfather was called Ronald.

Ernest is currently 13th in the line of succession to the British throne, just behind big brother August who is currently 12th in line.

In January this year, Eugenie announced her pregnancy with a charming Instagram post showing little August kissing her baby bump while on a walk in the countryside.
