Raheela Sadaf, 36, thumped the woman with such force she chipped her tooth. CCTV captured the scrap at Wibbly Wobbly World of Play in Perry Barr, Birmingham, which happened in front of “lots of children”.
Sadaf also struck another onlooker in the face, who tried to break up the scuffle. Within a matter of seconds around 10 family members became embroiled in the melee, Birmingham Live reports.
Birmingham Magistrates Court was told Sadaf “lost her temper” when she noticed the victim, with whom she had a long-standing dispute, was at the party. Sadaf had been “assured” the victim hadn’t been invited.
But yesterday, Sadaf admitted two charges of assault and was sentenced to a community order.
Her husband Sohbat Khan, 43, had intervened in the brawl but denied an offence of assault and was found not guilty following a trial.
The offence arises out of a situation which can be described as confusing, unnecessary and very unpleasant. It arises because of a family dispute that goes back years

A count of affray against the couple, from Handsworth, Birmingham, was also dismissed after the prosecution offered no evidence. The incident took place on February 29 last year.
John Western, prosecuting, said: “The offence arises out of a situation which can be described as confusing, unnecessary and very unpleasant. It arises because of a family dispute that goes back years.”
The court heard “friction” arose when the couple saw the victim at the centre and “unpleasant” words were exchanged in front of young kids.
Sadaf began to “head with purpose” towards the rival family member and “strike her forcefully,” JPs heard.
Mr Western added: “This then caused matters to escalate.
“All of this in an area where it really shouldn’t have been happening with lots of other people about and lots of children about.”
Footage of the incident showed the defendant swing her right arm at the victim.
Sadaf admitted hitting another onlooker who intervened as the fight continued, with other people getting involved.
Speaking in court, Mr Khan said: “I heard my wife screaming and saying ‘get off me’. I just ran over to stop the fight. Nobody else was doing anything, just watching. It was three against one. They were all on my wife pulling her hair.
“I’m a big guy. I never punched anyone just tapped her. It might have seemed like a punch but if I did punch her she wouldn’t have been standing.”
Magistrates, who watched the footage several times, found Mr Khan not guilty stating the prosecution had failed to prove he went beyond “reasonable force” in the defence of his wife.
Sadaf was sentenced to a 12-month community order including 15 days of rehabilitation activity. She was also fined £300 and was told to pay £250 in court costs as well as a £95 victim surcharge. A 12-month restraining order was also imposed banning her from contacting the two victims.
Sarfraz Khalil, defending, said: “Her problem is simply she lost her temper and acted physically upon it. It was very bad anger management and decision-making.”
