EuroMillions is back with another huge jackpot for Friday night players. A boost of £25 million to your income is surely dream come true money – and it could go to one lucky player in the UK if they manage to play the right numbers.

Last week an incredible £184 million was won by an anonymous ticket holder in France, after millions of players across Europe tried their hand at the transnational lottery.

EuroMillions has made several multi-millionaires out of UK winners in recent years, making it one of the National Lottery’s most popular games.

One of the biggest ever prizes won in the UK was claimed by Colin and Chris Ward, from North Ayrshire, Scotland, who won £161million in 2011.

The largest single win by a British player stands at £170 million – which was won by an anonymous ticket holder in October 2019.

How do I play EuroMillions?

EuroMillions is simple to play, and the payoff could be life-changing.

To enter you must purchase a ticket before 7.30pm on the day of the draw – these are every Tuesday and Friday for the EuroMillions.

You can buy a ticket any day of the week up to 11pm each evening, either online, on the National Lottery App, or at most local newsagents.

All you need to do is choose five numbers from one to 50 and two Lucky Stars from one to 12.

To make the process quicker, you can opt for a Lucky Dip instead which will randomly generate the numbers for you.

You can buy up to 10 play slips at a time, and play up to seven lines of numbers, for £2.50 a pop.

Players need to match all five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers to win the jackpot – but there are various other cash prizes if you don’t match every single number drawn.
