East Midlands Airport plane crash: Ryanair and Jet2 aircraft collide in fog
The Ryanair jet bumped in to the Jet2 aircraft as they taxied. An eyewitness said the plane on the group clipped a stationary plane at about 8.20am this morning. An airport spokesman said there was no one on the plane at the time of the crash.
An East Midlands airport spokesman said: “A taxiing aircraft made contact with a stationary aircraft this morning on the central passenger apron at East Midlands Airport.
“There were no passengers on either aircraft and no one has been injured.
“Flights are continuing as scheduled.”
