E-fit released in festival rape search as police look for 'man in chicken hat'
Police have released an e-fit of a man as part of a music festival rape investigation.
Detectives are searching for the individual after an alleged attack at Green Man Festival last weekend.
He is believed to have been wearing a distinctive ‘costume chicken hat’ prior to the reported incident.
Investigators say it happened in the early hours of August 21 at the Wales event.
The man they want to trace was in the Chai Wallahs tent, a venue on the site of the Brecon Beacons gathering.
Anyone with pictures from the event are being urged to provide them to police.
He is described as being in his mid-20s, 5ft 11ins and of average build.
Police say he has light brown hair, a ‘big forehead’, and is said to be white but with a tan.
He is believed to have dark eyes and thick eyebrows and was wearing a fine knit sweater (possibly maroon) with slim fit jeans.
Dyfed-Powys Police’s Fay Lantos said: ‘We are keen to identify this man who may be able to help us with our enquiries.
‘If this is you, you know who he is or if you have pictures of him from the festival, please get in touch with us.’
