Dr Fauci was ‘sneaked’ into CIA to ‘influence’ investigation into Covid origins
Dr Anthony Fauci was sneaked off-the-record into the CIA headquarters to “influence” the intelligence agency’s investigation into the origins of Covid.
This is the claim made by Republican politician Brad Wenstrup, the chair of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in a letter to Christi Grimm, the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services.
In a press release, the House Oversight Committee said that Wenstrup’s “revelation” follows recently-acquired whistleblower testimony alleging that the CIA may have skewed its Covid origins review by offering analysts financial incentives towards an inconclusive outcome.
They added: “Dr Fauci’s questionable presence at the CIA, coupled with recently uncovered evidence that he ‘prompted’ the drafting of ’Proximal Origin’ […] lends credence to heightened concerns about the promotion of a false COVID-19 origins narrative by multiple federal government agencies.
“The Proximal Origin of SARS-COV-2’ was a research paper published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature that concluded, based on genomic analysis, that Covid “is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus.”

In his letter to Grimm, Wenstrup wrote: “The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic […] has received concerning information regarding the Central Intelligence Agency’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
“According to information gathered by the Select Subcommittee, Dr Anthoy Fauci, then-director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, played a role in the Central Intelligence Agency’s review of the origins of COVID-19.
“The information provided suggests that Dr Fauci was escorted into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters — without a record of entry — and participated in the analysis to ‘influence’ the Agency’s review.
“Our goal is to ensure the scientific investigative process regarding the origins of COVID-19 was fair, impartial, and free of alternative influence.”

Wenstrup continued: “The American people deserve the truth — to know the origins of the virus and whether there was a concerted effort by public health authorities to suppress the lab leak theory for political or national security purposes.”
The Select Subcommittee chair has requested from the Department of Health and Human Services “all documents and communications” regarding the admittance or entry of Dr Fauci into CIA facilities.
The Committee on Oversight and Accountability press release concluded: “Mounting evidence continues to imply that federal government officials covered-up the origins of COVID-19.
“Investigating any improper influence will ensure future accountability of not only the intelligence community, but also public health officials.”
