Donald Trump goes to famous Cuban restaurant after pleading not guilty

Former President Donald Trump drove straight to a famous Cuban restaurant in Miami after pleading not guilty to 37 felony charges in a Florida federal court.

The former president’s motorcade left the federal courthouse in Miami around 4.00pm, surrounded by both jeering protesters and chanting supporters.

One protester, dressed in a black-and-white prison jumpsuit, dove in front of the motorcade, briefly causing a delay while Secret Service agents tackled and detained him.

Trump kept the windows of his black SUV up while leaving the courthouse, but flashed his supporters a double thumbs-up through the glass.

He drove straight to the Versailles Cafe, a landmark Cuban restaurant in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood that serves as a frequent campaign stop for presidential candidates.

Inside, Trump could be heard exclaiming ‘food for everyone!’ It is unclear if Trump actually purchased food for the crowd. He reportedly did not eat anything at the restaurant.

While at the restaurant, supporters broke into a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday.’ Trump turns 77 tomorrow.

A group of pastors and a rabbi also circled around the former president to pray over him.

This is a breaking story, check back for updates…
