US Weekly royal correspondent and podcast host Christina Garibaldi claimed Prince Charles is still angry with Prince Harry after his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. Insiders told the journalist that Charles and Harry did not “resolve their differences” when Harry returned to the UK and “barely communicated” with one another during Prince Philip’s funeral. She added the rumoured “slimming down” of the monarchy may freeze out Prince Harry as the future king believes he is not worthy to be a royal.

Speaking on US Weekly, Ms Garibaldi claimed a source said: “Prince Harry and Prince Charles did not resolve their differences when Harry returned to the UK – they barely communicated.”

The Sun newspaper reported Prince Charles, Harry and William had a two-hour long talk after Prince Philip’s funeral in an attempt to clear the air and broker some sort of peace deal.

Prince Harry reportedly felt “outnumbered” during the conversation, according to the Daily Mirror, before he quickly fled back to America to be with his wife.

But other sources claim there was no summit between the family members as Prince William and Charles feared if they spoke with Harry, details could be leaked to the press.

Ms Garibaldi continued and claimed an insider said: “Charles is still fuming about Harry throwing shade at him and the Royal Family in the big interview and won’t let it drop.”

During his Oprah interview, Prince Harry claimed his father and brother felt “trapped” in the Royal Family and said Charles cut him off financially.

There were also claims an unnamed member of the Royal Family had raised concerns about how dark baby Archie’s skin tone would be before he was born.

Meghan Markle also said Archie was not given a title that would have given him security, paid for by Buckingham Palace.

But that claim has been disputed by many experts with some stating the royal couple did not want a title to keep Archie out of the “public eye”.

Historians have also pointed to a 1917 letters patent which denies titles to great-grandchildren of the monarch – unless they are the firstborn grandson of the Prince of Wales – as the reason for Archie’s exclusion.

The patent means he would automatically get a title when Charles ascends the throne.

The Queen however introduced her own patent which extended titles to the rest of the Cambridges’ children.

Ms Garibaldi also said the source told her: “After the damage Harry has caused the family he firmly believes that his son doesn’t deserve the privilege of being a royal.”

It suggests that Prince Charles’ reduced Royal Family may exclude Harry and the Sussexes from the new lineup, including Archie and his unborn sister.

Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers suggested Prince Harry may be put off returning to the UK in July for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue – but said he would likely return.
