‘Delighted’ Nigel Farage stuns fans as he brilliantly proves why ‘Brexiteers are winning’
Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage stunned viewers as he insisted Brexiteers were winning in his latest LBC show. He explained that during the referendum campaign he would often show his passport and object to the front saying “European Union” before the United Kingdom. During his latest show, he stood up and strutted towards his camera and showed the removal of the words “European Union” on his new passport while insisting it was a triumph.
He began by saying: “First day back, midweek day back from holiday.
“And I had to collect a new passport.
“Some may remember in the referendum campaign in every single media appearance I held up my passport making the point that the first two words on it were European Union.
“This is very much what I objected too.

“Well, today I went to the passport office and I’m going to show those of you watching on live stream.
“I went today to the passport office and I’ve got my new passport.
“There it is, the words European Union have been removed.
“It simply says the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
“That says to me that Brexiteers are winning.
“Hooray, I’m delighted and pleased to be back at work.”
Mr Farage also posted a picture of himself holding the passport with glee on his Twitter page.
Some commended the Brexit Party leader for his pride and determination while others took the opportunity to criticise the divisive politicians.

“A huge task following 45 years of EU self-promotion and patronage which has and continues to work in the Remain camp.”
While another took aim at Mr Farage and said: “You are such a sad little man.
“Especially if your life depends on the appearance of your passport, I just feel sorry for you.”
