The Chief Medical Officer for England, Chris Whitty, has admitted his biggest regret in the country’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.

Mr Whitty was quizzed alongside Boris Johnson at Downing Street’s daily press conference.

Responding to Sky’s Beth Rigby, Mr Whitty admitted Britain’s capability of testing at the start of the epidemic was frustrating.
